Give your own answer
Every answer on As People Say comes from a person. Give your own judgment and use your own words. Do not paste answers, translations, explanations, notes, or edits produced by AI. Do not coordinate with other helpers or use existing answers to imitate a consensus.
Skip whenever you are unsure. A careful skip is more useful than a confident guess. Use a task flag only for the reason it names, not because a question is personally difficult.
Be kind and useful
Address the language question, not the learner. Disagreement about wording, tone, or regional use is welcome; insults, ridicule, hostility, harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, and targeted abuse are not.
Do not use notes, profiles, or questions for advertising, recruitment, dating, political campaigning, repeated self-promotion, or attempts to move members into private contact.
Protect privacy
Do not post somebody's private information, credentials, identifying documents, intimate material, or private messages with identifying details. Remove names and details from quoted messages and use the private setting for personal situations.
Do not scrape, bulk-copy, republish, sell, or use community content for AI training. Community access is for participating in and learning from the service, not building a public archive or dataset.
Keep questions within scope
Use As People Say for short Italian and English language uncertainties that fit the available formats. Do not post illegal content, malware, scams, impersonation, instructions for wrongdoing, or material that violates another person's rights. Do not manipulate results, create accounts to answer yourself, farm asking capacity, evade restrictions, or interfere with routing and security.
As People Say is not an emergency or professional-advice service. If content presents a credible immediate threat, contact local emergency services and report it to safety@aspeoplesay.com.
Reports and moderation
Use Report on visible content that may be illegal or break these rules. Include enough context for a human reviewer, but do not repeat sensitive material unnecessarily. Assigned helpers may use task flags when a question is in the wrong language, needs context nobody has, cannot be answered, or is inappropriate.
Depending on severity and history, the operator may give a notice, hide or remove content, close a question, reverse improperly earned asking capacity, restrict features, suspend an account, or close it. Serious safety concerns may be escalated to the appropriate authority. Moderation decisions do not change the evidence or result silently; actions are recorded.
Appeals
If moderation affects you, the notice explains what happened, which rule applied, and how to appeal. You may appeal for at least six months by replying to that notice or writing to appeals@aspeoplesay.com. A different person reviews the appeal where practical. Good-faith reports and appeals are welcome; repeated knowingly false reports may themselves violate these rules.
